Full Stack AI Engineer

An individual contributor role. You ship fast, own architecture across the stack, and teach and mentor juniors along the way.
Requirements
- Fluent daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, and so on). We do not hand-code here
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, Next.js, JavaScript, SQL
- Able to work independently and ship features end to end
What you will work on
- Building production systems around LLMs
- Deploying custom-trained models on AWS Bedrock and across providers
- Developing frontend applications and scalable backend APIs
- Collaborating with researchers to iterate quickly on product ideas
- Architecting agentic AI frameworks end to end
- Mentoring juniors and setting the engineering bar for the team
Responsibilities
- Pick the right AI tools and LLMs for each problem
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (Bedrock models, GPU instances, and so on)
- Build reliable model serving, logging, monitoring, and eval pipelines
- Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Own architecture decisions across the stack
- Set code and review standards; lead technical reviews
- Teach and mentor junior engineers so they ship faster
Nice to have
- Experience with Vercel, Lovable or bolt.new
- Experience with AWS (Bedrock, RDS, ECS, and so on)
- Understanding of LLM training and fine-tuning
- Experience with self-hosted inference on NVIDIA GPUs
- Familiarity with model optimisation and serving frameworks
- Experience with reinforcement learning for LLMs (DPO, PPO, and so on)
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform or OpenTofu)
- Startup or small-team engineering experience

A growth role for an engineer who wants to take research-backed AI systems to production. You will ship features end to end, learning alongside senior engineers and researchers.
